NEW ROCHELLE -- Three Iona Preparatory School scholar-athletes committed to playing collegiate sports as part of the school's second National Signing Day on February 7, 2024.

Their announcement came at a ceremony held at the Tully Gym included remarks by Athletic Director Ryan Mahoney, Varsity Football Head Coach Joe Spagnolo, and other school special guests, with proud parents, teachers, and fellow students watching remotely on LocalLive. 

The following Gaels committed on February 7, 2024:

Dylan Iorgoveanu, 17, Queens

COMMITMENT: D1, Stony Brook University

SPORT: Football, wide receiver

SPORTS at Iona Prep: Four years of Football; two years of indoor and outdoor track and field.

Sam Bisesi, 18, New Canaan, Connecticut

COMMITMENT: D1, Texas Christian University (TCU)

SPORT: Football, kicker/punter

SPORTS at Iona Prep: Two years of football,; one year of varsity golf.

Dan Pauletti, 17, Rye Brook

COMMITMENT: D3, Ithaca College

SPORT: Football, center/offensive line

SPORTS at Iona Prep: Four years of football; two years of baseball
