(Note: Due to inclement weather in New York City, this event has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 28.)
The 2023 TCS New York City Marathon is still over a month away, but people wanting to stretch their legs and see some of New York's ecumenical sites can join Together Manhattan, a day-long walk on Saturday, September 30, from Manhattan Island's northern end to its southern tip.
During the approximately eight-hour walk, the group will visit the Cloisters, the St. Frances Cabrini Shrine, and the Church of St. Joseph in Greenwich Village. See a full itinerary here.
Walkers will depart at 10 a.m. from The Cloisters Lawn (Inwood) and end at the East Coast Memorial (Battery Park) around 6 p.m.
The event is free and will be held rain or shine. Good shoes are essential. Lunch is not provided. Register here, or for more information, contact the Archdiocese of New York's Office of Young Adult Outreach.
