Intern
Overview/Purpose:
This position works closely with the Director, Associate Director, and Senior Investment Analyst in investment oversight and operations management related to the invested assets of The Archdiocese of New York and affiliated entities, including pension, health care, operating, endowment, foundation, trust, and other assigned investment funds.
The Investment Intern’s functions include assisting in the implementation of investment strategies, managing funds movements, tracking investment portfolios’ allocations and returns, maintaining relationships and communications with external managers and service providers as well as internal finance staff, and preparing presentation materials and schedules for internal investment team meetings.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with operational functions with external managers, consultants, custodians and other third parties. These functions include:
- Correspondence
- Funds movements (e.g. new investment allocations, portfolio rebalancing, capital calls, fee billing)
- Analysis and implementation of investment strategies
- Monitoring of investments and investment managers
- Prepare monthly investment reports, including returns vs. benchmarks, market values, allocations and cash flows
- Assist in developing and preparation of presentation material for various investment meetings
- Assist the Investment Management staff as needed with budgeting, long range planning, and other projects.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Seeking a bachelor’s degree or advanced
- 0-2 years professional experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Bloomberg functions
- Organized, articulate, and able to work on multiple projects concurrently
Compensation range for this position is: $17.00 per hour
This position is part-time, eligible for overtime, and has a work schedule of 20 hours per week. This position is temporary and active from 4/6/2026 through 4/24/2026.
