The funeral of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI will take place on Thursday, January 5 at 9:30 am Central European Standard Time (CEST). Pope Francis presides over the funeral at St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. That's 3:30 am in New York (Eastern Standard Time/EST).

Numerous outlets will broadcast or livestream the funeral in various languages:

Streaming/Cable Television:

Vatican News: The official news portal of the Holy See will present the funeral Mass live on its YouTube channel.

Catholic Faith Network (CFN): CFN will livestream the funeral Mass live at 3:30 am EST both via its website and app (iOS; Android), with an encore presentation at 10 am. CFN Espanol will also carry the livestream and encore presentation. CFN will also 

On cable television, Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) will broadcast the funeral Mass, with coverage beginning at 2:30 am. Use their channel finder to get the correct channel number for your local cable service. Encore presentations will be available on Thursday at 2:30 pm and 9 pm. 

Radio

SiriusXM's The Catholic Channel will carry live audio of the funeral Mass at 3:30 am, Catholic Channel hosts, Father Dave Dwyer and Lino Rulli, will offer English translation and commentary. There will be encore presentations at 11 am and 6 pm, respectively. A subscription or free trial may be required.
