Intern, CASA

 

Overview/Purpose:

Provide operational and administrative support to the Development Office and the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal.

Reports to:  Business Manager

Work Location:  488 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10022

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare written correspondence, assist with donor outreach, and support direct mail initiatives
  • Manage requests for administrative support from Executive Director of Parish Development and development staff
  • Assist with execution of solicitation materials, including merging, stuffing, and binding
  • Assist with making follow-up calls to donors seeking further information
  • Scan office files and create digital archives upon request
  • Assist with donor database projects, including maintenance and research
  • Provide logistical support for events as needed
  • Assume responsibility for special projects as needed

 

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • High school degree
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Detailed and priority-oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Intelligent, articulate, highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Interested in learning about non-profit fundraising
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage tasks effectively and in a timely manner with minimal supervision

 

Compensation range for this position is: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

This position is non-exempt from overtime, has a work schedule of 21 hours per week, and has a duration of 6/8/2026 through 8/14/2026.
