Renowned author and speaker, Chris Lowney, will be discussing his latest book, Everyone Leads: How to Revitalize the Catholic Church at the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm. In his book, Lowney invites the audience to look at critical issues facing the Catholic Church in the developed world from an entrepreneurial perspective; and proposes personal engagement and leadership as pathways to revitalization. Chris Lowney, a former Jesuit Seminarian, now chairs the board of Catholic Health Initiatives, one of the nation's largest healthcare organizations. Mr. Lowney is also the former Managing Director of J.P. Morgan & Co in New York, Tokyo, Singapore and London, as well as a reputable keynote speaker. Mr. Lowney has lectured in more than two-dozen countries on leadership, business ethics, and decision-making
He is the author of several books, including Heroic Leadership, a # 1 bestseller of the CBPA and finalist for the 2003 Book of the Year Award from ForeWord magazine. He developed and co-founded Contemplative Leaders in Action, an emerging leader formation program now active in a half-dozen cities. Mr. Lowney is also the founder of Pilgrimage for Our Children's Future, which funds education and healthcare projects in the developing world
