After extensive consultation, Cardinal Dolan issued the following four decrees:
- Merger of the Parishes of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Martin of Tours, Bronx (effective May 31, 2024)
- Merger of the Parishes of Holy Family and St. John the Evangelist-Our Lady of Peace, Manhattan (effective June 30, 2024)
- Merger of the Parishes of Saint Peter- Saint Denis and Immaculate Conception, Yonkers (effective June 30, 2024)
- Relegation of Saint John the Evangelist Church, in the Parish of Saint Mary of the Snow-Saint Joseph-Saint John the Evangelist, Saugerties (effective May 31, 2024)
The decrees were made public to all the faithful through their publication on the archdiocesan website.
