Pilgrimage to Italy

I would like to invite you, your relatives, and friends to join Fr. George Sears on our special pilgrimage to Italy! This pilgrimage will take us to the sacred sites of our Catholic faith, beginning in Rome, ever ancient, ever new! We’ll tour the city’s major Papal Basilicas, visit the Vatican Museums, celebrate Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica, and attend a Papal Audience with our Holy Father. Of course, we’ll visit the sites of historic Rome as well, from the Pantheon to Trevi Fountain, the famed Spanish Steps, and more.

We’ll travel outside the ancient Roman walls to the magnificent Basilica of St. Paul Outside-the-Walls and the Catacombs, a maze of tunnels hollowed out of volcanic rock where early Christians secretly practiced their religious rites and buried their dead.

Our pilgrimage will also take us to Assisi, the place where St. Francis preached and St. Clare founded her own community of “poor ladies.” We’ll walk in the footsteps of these revered saints and seek to imitate them as inspired servant leaders.

Best of all, we will be celebrating our faith, forming deeper bonds of friendship, and enjoying food and customs of another culture. There is nothing like sharing such experiences with friends and family in faith.

This is a pilgrimage specifically for young adults who are discerning their vocation, including a vocation to the priesthood. The Camino has always provided a great opportunity for people to find their way… because it is all about Jesus, THE WAY or, in Spanish, "El Camino."
