About Speaker & Musician:
Speaker: Mary D. Harper received her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in theology from Ave Maria University. She is the founder of Liturgical Style where she focuses on the theological significance of clothing based on Scripture, the stories of the Saints, and the liturgical calendar. The project began through her writing for Litany NYC. After teaching high school theology for four years alongside the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, she is now the author of The Liturgical Style Guide and her forthcoming book, What the Saints Wore.
Musician: Isabella Zegarra is a missionary with the Shalom Catholic Community, born and raised in NYC. She loves using music and ministry as a way to share the gifts God has given her and to help others experience the love of Christ in a real and personal way. Called to live in the world but not of the world, Isabella is on her own journey of growing closer to God and becoming the saint He created her to be. She also hopes to walk alongside others in their faith, encouraging them in whatever season they’re in. Through worship, her desire is to create simple, meaningful moments where people can feel the peace and presence of Christ.
