Approaching the Threshold of Eternity: End-of-Life Principles & Planning

Our Catholic faith gives us a beautiful understanding of the inherent dignity of all human life, especially in times of vulnerability. As we and our loved ones approach the end of life or experience times of illness, we want to ensure that we receive the best possible care. In the midst of a crisis, navigating complex medical and moral issues can become overwhelming, so it is good to be prepared for these situations in advance. This type of preparation is even more important now that physician-assisted suicide has become legal in New York, making certain populations particularly vulnerable – especially the elderly, the disabled, and those with serious or terminal illnesses.

On Saturday, May 30th, we invite you to join us for a presentation by the Respect Life Office and the Office of Public Policy that will address the spiritual vision of the end of life, the principles of end-of-life care, and how to make end-of-life decisions according to Catholic teaching.

To register, please email advocatesoflife@optonline.net or call 914-815-3009. There is no cost to attend.
