Fr. Jason Brooks grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and joined the Legionaries of Christ in 1994 after attending Ripon College, where he played football and hosted a weekly radio show. He was ordained a priest in Rome in 2004 and moved to Michigan in 2017. Inspired by Encounter Ministries, he is passionate about helping people experience the healing power of the Holy Spirit and currently leads the Regnum Christi Detroit Healing Ministry while serving as chaplain for adult lay members of the Regnum Christi Federation.
