CARDINAL DOLAN LEADS ANNUAL CATHOLIC CHARITIES DISTRIBUTION OF  THANKSGIVING MEALS

Timothy Cardinal Dolan will lead the annual Catholic Charities distribution of Thanksgiving Meals to more than 400 needy New Yorkers on Tuesday, November 20th beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Lt. Ruskay, executive vice president and CEO of UJA-Federation of New York will join Cardinal Dolan and Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, executive director of Catholic Charities, for this announcement.

Florence D'Urso will be honored in memoriam for her extraordinary generosity and service at the Annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution Program.

Catholic Charities, a federation of approximately 90 agencies and programs located throughout the 10 counties of the Archdiocese of New York, helps solve the problems of New Yorkers in need— non-Catholics and Catholics alike— with services that protect and nurture children, resolve family crises, assist the hungry and homeless, support the physically and emotionally challenged, and integrate immigrants and refugees.
