Registration Is Now Open for Rites of Election and Calling to Continuing Conversion

On Sunday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m., the Rite of Election for the catechumens of the archdiocese will take place at the Cathedral of St. Patrick. His Eminence, Cardinal Edward Egan will preside. The Rite of the Calling of the Candidates to Continuing Conversion will take place the following Sunday, Feb. 17, at two locations: 2:00 p.m.at the Cathedral, again with Cardinal Egan, and 2:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh, N.Y., where Bishop Dominick Lagonegro will preside.
Parishes are asked to register their catechumens and candidates with the Catechetical Office by Jan. 15, 2008.
